The blade is made of 1060 carbon steel and laminated in Maru structure. The kissaki shape of the blade tip is chu-kissaki.

The blade is fully handmade in the most traditional Japanese craftsmanship way. It is fully hand-forged, hand-polished and hand-sharpened by our experienced smith. The blade is in full-tang which greatly enhances the strength of the whole sword .
The blade is good enough to cut a thick tree and steep enough to slice paper.
This sword can also be made dull so that you can use it for practice, like in Iaido !
