Our factory has used only traditional method for Chinese sword making, each blade is individual hand forged, heat treated, tempered and polished by skilled hands creating a true battle ready and perfect sword which is studied not only for its elegant lines and simple beauty, but Also for the technique and skill that went into its construction.
It is fully hand-forged, hand-polished and hand-sharpened by our professional smith. This blade is made of folded steel and has folded 12 times to create the 4096 layers to increase the flexibility and hardness of the blade and a distinct texture is Left on the blade as a result of the repeated folding during the process.
The visible tenuous undulating grain on the blade was made from folded repeatedly during forging.
The blade is good enough to cut a thick bamboo tree and steep enough to slice paper.
Sword Function
This sword is made of high quality AISI 1095 + 1060 Steel carbon steel with exquisite manual work of polishing forging and folding, which cast flexibility and hardness of the blade in a large degree.The sword can be as hard as to cut the meat with bones, paint bucket and bamboo; can be as sharp as to cut slice paper.
