The blade is fully hand-made in the most traditional Japanese craftsmanship way. It is fully hand-forged, hand-polished and hand-sharpened by our experienced smith. This blade is made of 9260 Spring steel and hand polished by multiple abrasive stones in the whole process, which makes the surface of the blade much bright and smooth and to increase its hardness and elasticity with the high quality 9260 Spring steel.
The 9260 spring steel blade is full-tang and features a deep blood groove as well. It is laminated in a Maru style with two hi on each side to lighten the blade and balance the sword as a whole to make better operation.
This is exquisite manual work of polishing forging and folding, which cast flexibility and hardness of the blade in a large degree.
It can be used for the real battle for its hardness, sharpness and flexibility and also an absolutely necessary as one of the collections or for display.
This tsuba (guard) of the sword is made of alloy with two Seppas.
The katana is a fully functional Japanese katana and not a replica, it is considered a weapon and it is extremely sharp. This sword can easily sever a 7" thick bamboo with single stroke. The katana can be completely disassembled for full Maintenance.
This sword can also be made dull so that you can use it for practice, like in Iaido !
