This is a sword and we believe in quality over quantity. swords are hand-made, fully functional, and "battle ready" katanas. The blade is fully hand-made in the most traditional Japanese craftsmanship way. It is fully hand forged, hand-polished and hand-sharpened by our experienced smith.
The blade was made of  t10 high carbon steel, and it has been laminated in a Maru structure with a clay temper line.a special clay is applied to the blade by hand, using a thin covering near the edge and a thicker layer over the rest of the blade. This results in a relatively quicker cooling of the edge during quenching, producing a harder edge and softer back.The beautiful real hamon is also a result of the differential cooling of the blade (quenching and tempering).

The sword is a fully functional Japanese katana and not a replica, it is considered a weapon and it is extremely sharp. This sword can easily sever a 7" thick bamboo with single stroke. The katana can be completely disassembled for full Maintenance.
